How often do you meet someone whose entire business embodies their best qualities?

You know that old expression, the shoemakers’ children have no shoes? It’s been too long since we’ve updated this blog, but not for lack of creating content – our clients come first. But last month, our client-turned-friend hosted an open house in celebration of her business’ new location, and asked me to document the event and capture some new headshots along the way.

It’s rare to know someone like our friend Hannah. She cares so much for others, especially the marginalized and under-resourced in her community, and has built her entire business by providing helpful services at an accessible price point. When I was editing the photos, it struck me how much of Hannah’s personality shines through in her new space…and in these portraits.
